ViViD at Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall
The title of ViViD's tour revealed that this concert was going to be a shiny, bright and colorful spectacle: “Dear...ViViD COLORS” started on a mild spring evening, just when the evening twilight began in Tokyo's Hibiya Park.
The fans seemed to have prepared for this event the whole day since they appeared to be competing for the most exciting outfit. But, not just the styling: It was obvious that they practiced a bunch of hand dances just for the show– one of the highlights later on was when all the girls formed a heart with their hands to the rhythm.
The band's staff prepared a stage which feigned simplicity before the live began, but turned into an inferno of candy-colored light once the music started. Drummer Ko-ki was the first to enter the at the front of the stage, heating the girls in the audience up with some dancing and posing before climbing to his drum set. Ko-ki's set was uniquely elevated, allowing him to be seen throughout the gig.
