Our fan, Jozetto, went to Japan to attend ViViD's Budokan LIVE and their handshake event in Stella Hall. She went for Reno's booth twice, and get him writing her name and signed!

Ah... Start getting envy... LOL

ViViD Ranking 4th in ORICON Weekly Single Charts

ViViD are certainly catching a lot of attention these days. After their big success at Nippon Budokan, the single release of "message" is another great follow-up.

With the release in January 11th, the single had ranked 4th in the ORICON Weekly Charts dated January 23rd. With that they are just behind top artists like KinKiKids and 2AM and rank their personal best with it as well.

For ViViD all four singles since their major release have at least ranked within the Top 10.

ViViD Meeting 5,000 Fans for Single Release Event!

On January 14th and 15th ViViD had been holding a special event, to commemorate the release of their latest single "message", which had dropped in stores on January 11th this year.

The event had been held at Shinagawa Stella Ball and has gathered a total of roughly 5,000 fans to participate within the two days. The happening included a meet and greet with the band members and was the biggest event of this kind for the five of them.

"It is great that we were able to talk to the fans directly for a long time." Shin said and Reno added: "There were a few insecurities since it was our first great event of this kind of scale, however, I am happy that many fans came to see us."

While the communication between the band and the fans had been the main part of the event, the hall had been divided into two parts, whereas the costumes ViViD had been wearing at the recent Nippon Budokan performance were also put on display.

The special events for the single release will continue on January 21st in Osaka and Fukuoka, before the band will be going on it's first hall tour on June 27th.

ViViD holds release event for “message”

On January 14th and 15th, rock band ViViD held a release event for their latest single, “message“, at Shinagawa Stella Ball.

As this was their first time holding a handshake event, vocalist Shin stated, “It was good to be able to directly talk to fans for a long period of time. It’s a rare opportunity, so I was able to lean forward a bit.”

ViViD had a big start in the New Year as they held their first Nippon Budokan live on January 7th. Reno expressed his joy saying, “The fans gave us their thoughts on Budokan. We’ve always dreamed about Budokan, and were moved by the fact that we were able to have the fans listen to our music. So we were happy to directly hear their thoughts.”

Meanwhile, Shin commented on their new song with, “For us, it was the first Nippon Budokan live of our lifetime. We wanted to put the memories in physical form. We put all our feelings into the song.”

ViViD will continue to hold release events in Osaka and other areas from January 21st. They will also kick off their first hall tour, “Welcome to the ROCK★SHOW“, on June 27th at Chukyo University Center for Culture & Arts Prunier Hall.

ViViD、ファンの熱気に「前のめりになった」

5人組ロックバンドViViDが1月14・15日、新シングル「message」の発売を記念したイベントを、品川ステラボールで開いた。企画は「ファンと至近距離で触れ合いたい」とメンバーが発案し実現したバンド初の大規模握手会。イベントには2日間で約5000人が集まった。ボーカルのシンは「ダイレクトに長い時間ファンと話すことができて良かった。なかなかない機会なので、こちらも前のめりになってしまった」と交流を楽しんでいた。


「ダイレクトに長い時間ファンと話すことができて良かった。なかなかない機会なので、こちらも前のめりになってしまった。これまで5人一緒にイベントを行ったことはあったけど、メンバー1人1人がファンと話すことは難しかったので、楽しかった。こういうイベントをもっと増やしていきたい。新曲「message」は日本武道館に立つ自分たちを想像して歌詞を書きました。僕らにとって一生に一度しかない初の日本武道館でのライブ。みんなとの思い出を形にしたい、胸に残し忘れないでほしいなと思いを込めました。歌詞を書くときに見えた景色は、無数に光るペンライト。現実は、その何百倍も感動的な景色で、またこの場所に何度でも立ちたいと思いました。」──シン

「初めて大きな規模でイベントをしたので不安もあったけれど、ファンの方がたくさん来てくれてうれしかった。企画はメンバーで考えたもの。ファンの人が、好きなメンバーとゆっくり話すことができたので良かったなと思う。ファンの方からは1月7日に行った、武道館の感想を多くいただいた。自分自身も、あこがれていた武道館で、自分たちの音楽を聴かせることができて感動したので、直接声をいただいてうれしかった。」──零乃

Sugao no ViViD (Type B video)

Here is the Sugao no ViViD (素颜のViViD) in Type B special. Poor Reno, being awaken in 4:20am in hotel's room, and he is the only one being interrupted!

And you must have a look on Ryoga's special method of waking Ko-ki up. He threw himself on Ko-ki, yelling Ko-ki's name who is on the bed! LOL...
