Zepp Diver City 2DAYS concert held on 26th and 27th December 2013. Last time we brought you the report of the first day "OVER THE LIMIT ~scars~", so this time we will be bringing you the report of the second day with "genesis" as the theme. On this second day almost all of the songs were new songs, so the stage was full of surprises.
As the lights fell off, a SE no one had heard yet played in the venue. The lights shining from the back moved from up to down and the audience clapped their hands to the rhythm. The atmosphere within the venue was different from the day before, and you could feel something fantastic was going to happen.
The opening song was "THEATHER", a song with lyrics that were completely in English, and that was released as a download-only single earlier December. I believe I wasn't the only one who lost their words with the first powerful song. The performance of the members seemed to have improved indescribable amounts from the day before.
Next song was a new song, a beautiful ballad with rap and calls by drummer Ko-ki. The song following that started with Reno's guitar. Everything was different with today's ViViD, and the stage kept changing without anyone being able to figure out what was going to happen next, making it impossible for the audience to take their eyes off the stage.
The following new song started with guitar riffs, and the light blue lights, calming melody and Shin's high vocals melted together creating a new world. "Amaoto" following didn't betray the expectations either. The performance they showed was so splendid it made it seem as they had improved 10 years during one night.
Following new song brought back the rock feeling the live had started with, followed by a pop-like easy to dance song, during which the members smiled widely while performing.
The color of the live changed with encore, as they played songs that could also be called the representative works of ViViD. As the intro of "Take-off" started to play in the hall, the audience screamed. Continuing with "Kimikoi" and "Vanity", the excitement within the venue broke the record.
"Let's keep on going!" With Shin's voice the encore kept going on with unbelievable power, continuing on with "RIDE on time" and "REAL". After saying "This is a song that we really want to play to everyone now", they played "Natsukaze ~endless love~". As the song ended, Shin spoke of his feelings for this one year to the audience.
"Today I'm truly happy from the bottom of my heart. People say that we are "the band that went to Budokan fastest in history", but it was a stage we were able to stand on thanks to everyone. We saw many things that we lacked of on that stage, and we spoke of everything we felt with the members. And we decided to start from zero on 2013. Since we were able to have a live this happy, I believe our 2013 wasn't a mistake. Our dream is huge and we won't lose our grip as a band, so we would like you to follow ViViD."

The last song of the day was the song also used as the opening for popular TV animation series "Magi - The Kingdom of magic", "Hikari -HIKARI-" with a melody that gets straight to your heart. It was a stage that made us sure of the fact that you should not take your eyes off ViViD from now on.
In 2014, ViViD will release a new single "Hikari -HIKARI-" on 2/05 (Tue), new album "THE PENDULUM" on 2/26 (Wed).
