On 4th July ViViD's vocalist Shin had his birthday. And on the same date, to celebrate this special day, "Shin Birthday LIVE 『THE ARISING VOICE』" was held at AiiA THEATER TOKYO. On this day ViViD entertained the fans with a live that was a bit different than usual, and we hope that through this report you can get your share of it.
Even though the live was held during the week, the live was completely sold out. As the background music that was silently playing at the hall got louder, excitement ran through the audience. As the lights dropped the audience turned their faces towards the stage. Only few of them noticed Shin, who ran through the audience wearing a white kimono. After Shin samurai warriors kept appearing to the stage one after another. When talking about Shin, it hasn't been long since he did his debut as an actor through playing the main role in stage play "Onikirihime" and also showed off his powerful acting in "Bakumatsukitan SHINSEN5 ~Gaiden~". The fellow actors from the stage plays had come to the venue to celebrate Shin by performing stage combat with him. The opening was sure one that you could only see at this live.
As the stage curtains rose, main guitarist RENO, rhythm guitarist RYOGA, bassist Ivu and drummer Ko-ki were already standing on the stage. They immediately started playing their first song "天音 / Amaoto". After that Shin changed from kimono to a rider's jacket, and shouted to the audience; "Hey Shibuya! You're going to let me hear your voices, right?!" The usual hot live had started. Powerful songs continued with "FAKE", "THEATER" and "risk", and the members became one with the audience, making the sold out venue shake.
"I'm going to make you all happy!" with Shin's words the atmosphere in the venue changed immediately. As the up-tempo rhythm of "ring" filled the venue, the smiles on the audience's faces were lighted up with the colors of the rainbow. After "キミコイ / Kimikoi", which made the audience scream of joy when it's intro started playing, calm guitar riffs echoed to the venue and "Crescent" was played. After the heartwarming ballad, RENO and RYOGA's guitar solo started, and the venue was filled with pleasant atmosphere.
And with warm guitar sounds in the back, Shin spoke to the audience.
"I'm so happy for being in ViViD as this many people gathered here for me. Everyone asked me "What do you want (as a birthday present)?" but to be honest, if you can forget the hard things in your lives and be able to enjoy this very moment, I'm happy."
"The next song I was selfish to have it included set list. Will you sing it with me?" Following his words a nostalgic melody filled the venue. Loud cheers arose from the audience. During the years they have been active, ViViD has created many songs. There are many songs they haven't been playing in the lives lately, but on this day they played many of such songs too, making the fans happy. Among those songs the one with the loudest reaction must have been "PRECIOUS". The feeling of unity between Shin and the fans who sang along the lyrics was something that can not be expressed with words.
After "PRECIOUS" was Ko-ki's drum solo, and after that, "RED"... or so it was supposed to be. Instead they started playing the Happy Birthday Song and together with that a big cake was brought to the stage. Together with that the fans lit up star-shaped lights, creating a starry sky to the audience seats. This beautiful scenery must have been carved to the member's hearts.
And while being surprised at the sudden surprise, Shin told everyone a birthday episode of the day before.
"Yesterday I was watching Pokemon alone at home, and thought it would be too lonely to not do anything for my birthday, so I went and bought a piece of cake. They asked me how many candles I want for my cake, so I said "One, please", and they said "That would make 10 yen". (Laugh) I should've bought more!"
They changed to live mode immediately by playing "RED" and "RIDE on time". Shin's strong vocals and the steady instrumentals captivated the audience. During encore they continued playing rare songs with "Bright red garden". The set list of the day had been selected by Shin himself, and judging by the smiles and joyful cheers of the audience, it was a success. As a proof of that, when Shin announced that the next song would be the last, shouts of objection arose from the audience. Towards the audience's reaction, Shin promised that they would play one more song if the audience would show the members the best scenery ever during "Take-off". The feelings of the audience, who wished for this moment to continue forever, seemed to have reached the members, as they played "survive" as the last song of the night.
This night that started with a special performance must have been special for both Shin and the fans. Next ViViD will be starting their tour "ViViD TOUR 2014 - ANTHEM -" from Nagoya on 2014/12/07. Make sure to keep your eyes on ViViD from now on too.

2014年9月4日是ViViD主唱•Shin的生日。當日為了慶祝這個特別的日子，在AiiA THEATER TOKYO 舉辦了"ViViDシンBirthday LIVE「THE ARISING VOICE」"生日專場演出活動。在此為大家分享ViViD不同與往日一面的精彩演出。
雖然不是週末，這一天的門票也依然銷售一空。隨著會場內背景音樂的音量變大，觀眾席也一下安靜了下來。燈光變暗後，觀眾一齊將目光轉向舞台。此刻幾乎誰都沒有注意到一身白色和服的Shin穿過觀眾席走向舞台。一群武士也跟著Shin陸續登場。在《鬼切姫》和《幕末奇譚 SHINSEN5～外伝～》中擔任主演練就一身武藝的Shin和其他演員一起手持刀具和光劍獻上了這一日的開場演出。
熒幕上升，只見吉他手RENO和RYOGA以及貝斯手IV、鼓手Ko-ki早已站在舞台中央。隨即開始了當晚的第一首歌曲《天音 / Amaoto》的表演。脫下和服換上騎士夾克的Shin朝觀眾喊道："你好澀谷！讓我聽到你們的聲音！！"如往日一樣的精彩演出開始正式上演。《FAKE》、《THEATER》、《risk》的一連串爆音演奏讓觀眾和成員融為一體，震撼擠滿人群的會場。
"我要讓大家都能夠盡興！"Shin以一句發言瞬間改變了會場氣氛。歡快曲風的《ring》響徹滿場，五彩的燈光照射著觀眾一張張笑臉。前奏剛一響起就引起一片尖叫的《キミコイ / Kimikoi》過後，《Crescent》那平靜優雅的吉他小調在會場中流動。在一段暖心的抒情演唱後，RENO和RYOGA的吉他獨奏再次將氣氛炒熱。
在柔和的吉他伴奏下，Shin說道：
"我很高興能作為ViViD讓如此之多的人們為我相聚在這裡。每個人都在問我'想要什麼生日禮物？'但說實話，如果你們能忘卻生活中的煩心事，享受此刻的演出的話，我就會真的很滿足了。"
"我很自私的將下一首歌納入到表演曲目之中，希望大家能和我一起唱，好嗎？"令人懷念的旋律剛一響起，觀眾就開始熱烈的歡呼起來。這次的演出上表演了許多平時不怎麼能聽到的曲目。而反響最熱烈的莫過於那首《PRECIOUS》。一邊微笑一邊合唱的感人情景是用言語都無法表達的。
《PRECIOUS》過後，是Ko-ki的架子鼓獨奏。這之後本來應該是《RED》，不過取而代之的，大家開始一起合唱生日歌，然後一個很大的蛋糕被拿到舞台上。觀眾也一起點亮了星星手燈，將觀眾席變成了美麗的星空。相信這一場景一定感動了每一位成員的心。
一場驚喜過後，Shin突然講起了發生在生日前夜的小插曲。
"昨天我獨自在看Pokemon，然後覺得生日的時候什麼都不做也太孤獨了。所以我出門去買蛋糕。當店員問我需要多少支蠟燭的時候。我無意識地回答'就一個吧。'然後店員說'10日元'。早知道我就多要點了！（笑）"
然後他們又馬上轉回到live模式，開始了《RED》和《RIDE on time》的演奏。Shin通透的歌聲和樂隊迷人的演奏虜獲了觀眾的芳心。安可上又披露了一曲《Bright red garden》。從觀眾熱烈的歡呼聲中可以看出Shin自己製作的曲單大獲成功。由於觀眾聽到接下來是最後一曲後不想結束的聲音十分強烈，成員們便約定"如果《Take-off》上大家能展現出最棒的樣子，那麼我們就再來一曲"。大家想永遠停留在此刻的想法也好似傳達給了成員們似的，最後又追加了一曲《survive》。
以一場特別表演開始的這一夜定將成為Shin和粉絲們特別的記憶。接下來的12月7日ViViD還將在名古屋展開以"ViViD TOUR 2014 - ANTHEM -"為名的新一輪巡演。從現在開始也請繼續關注他們。
